Windows 7: how to make files appear in folders not as a list, but as usual icons?

Hello! Some long headline turned out, but oh well :), the main thing that would be clear what the article was about. And today I will write, as you already understood, about how in Windows 7 to make it so that instead of lists, files in folders are displayed with normal icons, well, or large ones, this is already an amateur.

I don’t know about you, but I don’t like it when all the files in folders are lists, everything is small, and it’s not convenient to work with them. And after installing Windows 7 by default, all files are displayed in a table. And even if you change the view, then after you close the folder and open it again, everything will be displayed again in a table (list). Therefore, here you need to posh a little 🙂 exactly how, I will write now.

Then choose “Normal Icons,” or whatever suits you best.

Paul did things, now the folders are displayed as needed. But now we need to save these changes and apply them to all folders. To do this, do not close anything, but click on “Arrange” and select “Folder and search options”.

The folder settings window will open. Go to the “View” tab, then click “Apply to folders”, confirm by clicking “Yes” and “Ok”.

So simply, you can set the desired view for all folders. I hope that my advice will be useful to you. There will be questions, ask them in the comments. Good luck!
